SESSION TWO Part II – Tackling the triple crises: Building on The European Green Deal

The world is facing a triple crisis: climate and energy, biodiversity and chemicals. The EU has a key role and responsibility in addressing these.  

For each one of the three crises a panel will discuss:

  • What are the main challenges we are facing?
  • To what extent has the European Green Deal delivered an appropriate EU policy and legislative response to the crisis?
  • What milestones are yet to be achieved within this Commission and European Parliament?
  • What should the priorities for a European Green Deal 2.0, beyond the European elections in 2024?
